SecureGUARD is co-founder of the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Client-Centric Could Computing
A new Christian Doppler institute, with its focus on Client-Centric Cloud Computing, was opened on 08 June 2011 with a ceremonial act at Schloss Hagenberg.
After an intense planning period of only eight months, the new institute, a cooperation of the Johannes Keppler University Linz, the University of Applied Science Hagenberg and SecuerGUARD, as well as other business partners, could be taken into operation.
The SecuerGUARD GmbH is majorly involved in the content design and therefore has the opportunity to develop solutions for the security problems of Cloud Computing in cooperation with scientific staff from the Christian Doppler Laboratory. These solutions not only make using Cloud Services easier, they also ensure the highest degree of security.
This institute, unique in Austria, represents a major step in furthering the research and development of the forward looking topic Cloud Computing and in developing security technologies for Cloud applications.
